Tips for caring for a new tattoo in 4 simple steps from A to Z.

Step 1: Apply a protective bandage to the tattoo immediately after getting it and remove it after 1-2 hours.
Step 2: For the first 7 days: Always wash the tattoo with mild soap and warm water at least 3 times a day. Wash in the morning after waking up.
Absolutely do not use soaps with many chemicals, fragrances, colors, or containing high levels of lye and acid.
Step 3: Pat the tattooed area dry, then gently apply a layer of antibacterial ointment or other creams to help the skin heal and fight disease-causing bacteria.
Personal tip: After getting a tattoo, remember to ask the tattoo shop for these creams. They usually have them, but they might not give them due to being busy or forgetting.
Then, from day 4 onwards until the tattoo is completely healed (1 month), apply a small amount of moisturizing cream 3 times a day to moisturize the tattoo and reduce dryness.
But remember to apply only a small, thin layer to the tattoo; don’t apply too much as it can cause an adverse reaction to the skin.
Common products: Dove, Aquaphor Healing Ointment…
Why should you apply moisturizer regularly to your tattoo?
Applying moisturizer regularly will help the tattoo scab over, making the peeling process gentler and minimizing itching and discomfort. Furthermore, it keeps the tattoo’s color vibrant and bright.
We recommend using moisturizers designed for dry skin.
What to do if the tattoo itches?
Okay, this feeling is very uncomfortable, but don’t scratch it! :)))
This is normal; sometimes the tattoo area is very itchy and burning, but remember, absolutely do not scratch or pick at it. Just gently wash it to reduce discomfort and apply a light layer of moisturizer.
What to do after the scabs fall off?
After about 7-10 days, the scabs will usually fall off on their own, and your tattoo will start to show. At this point, the tattoo may look faded. Don’t worry! The skin will gradually mature and become normal, at which point the tattoo’s color will usually return to normal. Typically, after about 1-2 months, all tattoos will stabilize and look beautiful.
